This is the perfect place to unwind. Ideally situated just minutes from the charming village of Durrus. It makes the perfect base to explore this breathtaking part of Ireland.

Durrus is well served with an excellent grocery store - where you can find everything you are likely to need, including Durrus's very own award winning cheese. Not one, but four bustling Irish pubs. Two of which serve food. As if this wasn't enough, within walking distance you will find two restaurants serving top quality local food. Also a cafe.

All this without having left the village!!

At the cottage itself you will want for nothing, set in the grounds of the owners house, with its children's play area for use with your supervision, natural pond and wandering hens, we have catered for your every need. And should you think of something we have forgotten we will do our best to help.

Wi-fi broadband available so if you need to keep in email contact, even an EPad can be supplied!

At the head of Dunmanus Bay, you are at the gateway to the spectacular Mizen and Sheeps Head Peninsulas.

There are options for enjoyable activities locally, with walking and cycle routes,cycle hire available at the cottage, sea angling and gardens to visit. From Schull take a boat trip to Cape Clear Island, while Bantry, six miles away, offers golf, cinema and the delightful Bantry House.
